Can this old grill be saved?
I bought a house that was built in the 40s. Someone built a brick fireplace table very decent surrounding an outdoor grill. The inside of the grill itself is brick, but it has old metal door with the name of the company Majestic DE-F-A48. All of this is oxidized but still close together. The lid is further oxidized and has a few small holes where rusted through. Within the grid, the grids were under construction, but after cleaning about 2 'of dirt and nuts is solid. I searched for this company and found nothing. Is it possible to buy spare parts for something like this?
Probably need to manufacture the same parts. I do not get rid of it but there are a lot of history in these things and is really impressive grill cook in an age that way and think back to some impressive American family barbecue that is happening for many decades. Maintain and make it work.
