  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 oz pepperoni, sliced
  • 1 tomato in slices (and any other vegetables you like)
  • 2 slices canned pineapple, chopped
  • 6 olives, halved

Here's how:

Preheat a gas grill on high for 15 minutes, then turn heat to medium term. Sprinkle flour on cutting board. Stretch out the dough into the size and shape you want, on the cutting board meal.

Spread half the olive oil over the dough, then cover and spread the remaining oil in the other side. Put the dough on a tray or large piece of foil to take to the grill, then turn upside down on the grill and remove the paper or tray.

Close lid of grill and cook the pizza dough for 4 minutes, checking and midway. Transfer to cutting board and add the sauce to the pizza dough, grilled side. Add the ingredients, cheese and herbs.

Disconnect one of the two burners grill pizza and put back on the grid. Cover the grill, cook for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and pizza crust is cooked through and golden on the bottom.

If the pizza crust is cooked on the bottom, but cheese does not melt, however, the pizza is moved to another place on the grid. Remove the finished pizza with a couple of spatulas long handled or a baker's peel, cut into pieces and serve.
